Homoeopathy cures psoriasis

Homoeopathy can cure psoriasis.

More than 125 million people worldwide suffer from psoriasis

Each year, more than 2,00,000 additional people get the disease.

Heredity seems to be a strong predisposing factor with 33 per cent patients reporting that they have a relative suffering from psoriasis.

If one parent has psoriasis, a child has nearly a 10 per cent chance of having psoriasis. If both parents have psoriasis, the chances shoot up to 50 per cent.

Many skin diseases are known to increase during winter because of the dryness. Psoriasis is one such autoimmune disease that tends to flare up in winter.

Equally affecting both sexes, psoriasis can appear at any age, although it usually strikes for the first time between 15 and 25 years of age.

Dr. Batras’ Positive Health Clinic Private Limited (DBPHCPL) is taking the initiative of spreading awareness about Psoriasis on the occasion of World Psoriasis Day on October 29.

This awareness programme which ends on November 4, has special offers including a free first consultation with our expert Homeopaths who have been trained by leading Dermatologists.

Psoriasis has no definitive cause; however, stress, both physical and psychological, is known to aggravate the condition. The irony is that those suffering from psoriasis experience further stress and depression and thus get into a vicious cycle, which explains why psoriasis is a recurring chronic condition that is difficult to treat.

About 560 lakh man hours are lost each year by patients of psoriasis.

Skin is the largest organ in the body and plays an important role in controlling body temperature and serves as a barrier to infection.

Therefore, if left untreated, large areas of psoriasis can lead to infection, fluid loss, and poor blood circulation. Around 30 per cent of people with psoriasis also develop psoriatic arthritis, a crippling disease of the joints and the bones.

In 80 per cent of people with psoriatic arthritis, the nails get affected too.

“Being an autoimmune disorder, psoriasis is especially responsive to Homeopathy because homeopathic medicines, being subtle bio-energetic preparations, work towards correcting the deranged immunity.

A holistic science, Homeopathy not only relieves the patient’s physical discomfort but also puts the patient at ease mentally,” says Dr Mukesh Batra, founder and CMD, DBPHCPL.

Research has proved that Homeopathy effectively treats psoriasis.

A 3-year clinical study in England revealed that 97 per cent of psoriasis patients who were treated with Homeopathy showed a marked improvement in their condition.

“In a world of instant gratification, it is important for psoriasis patients to understand that while one sees visible improvement in the first few months itself, the full course of treatment could take a few years.

At DBPHCPL, we have enjoyed success even in some very severe and advanced cases. So just stay positive and adhere to the treatment protocols and you can be sure of long lasting results,” adds Dr Rohini Talwar, MD Dermatologist at DBPHCPL.
